Overview
Defendant Larry Miller Toyota installed a rear propeller driveshaft in plaintiff’s 1990 Toyota 4Runner, which fell out 11 months later while plaintiff was driving on the freeway. Plaintiff injured his right shoulder and neck in the incident.
Courtroom Animation was tasked with depicting the mechanism of failure in the driveshaft, and how that led to the plaintiff’s vehicle being launched in the air and injuring the client.
The animation was key in obtaining a $2.2 million verdict. When the jury saw it they nodded their heads up and down and for the first time they really understood what had happened to my client.
