Overview

Attorney Steve Vartazarian: “This was a bus vs. pedestrian collision with serious injuries, but the comparative fault allegation was extremely concerning as our client was found at the scene with a heroin needle in her possession and was alleged to be under the influence of heroin and methamphetamine. She was essentially a transient at the time of the incident and it was alleged by the defense that she was getting high all night at a neighbor’s house and wandered out onto the street at 6:00 AM in front of a school bus that was making a stop to pick up children. I knew the bus driver was 100% at fault because she ran over our client from behind, but the trial could have gone either way.”

I needed a very effective animation of how the incident occurred, with foundation, as well as animations of our client’s injuries and surgeries. Courtroom Animation came through with as perfect of an animation of the incident as I have seen. This animation was pivotal in causing a zero-offer case to settle for $5.5 million in the afternoon of the first day of trial. I believe the animation caused the defense to develop more concern than we had!
